Tutored 8th grade math student enrolled in Algebra 2. Tutored 15 college accounting students as an adjunct instructor. SAT: 2190 ACT: 34 Education has always been a passion of mine. My mother was an educator for more than 20 years and I've always been someone who thought of teaching as an excellent occupation after my career in the private sector. I tutored in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I love teaching math and science-related subjects, not because I've done exceptionally well in those subjects, but because I've struggled with those subjects as well when I was younger. I am definitely able to empathize with a student facing the stresses, frustrations, and challenges a technical subject can pose. I am currently working as an Investment Banker in the Financial District and would like to dedicate my Sunday/Saturday noon-evening to helping a student in need of more than just a "homework checker"!
