My mother was an educator for more than 20 years and I've always been someone who thought of teaching as an excellent occupation after my career in the private sector. I tutored in the past and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I love teaching math and science-related subjects, not because I've done exceptionally well in those subjects, but because I've struggled with those subjects as well when I was younger. I am definitely able to empathize with a student facing the stresses, frustrations, and challenges a technical subject can pose. I am currently working as an Investment Banker in the Financial District and would like to dedicate my Sunday/Saturday noon-evening to helping a student in need of more than just a "homework checker"!
