Hi there, this is Xirui Huang. I am a professional musician who just earned a doctorate degree ( Doctor of Musical Arts) at the University of Nevada. I have over ten-year experience teaching piano, voice, and music theory lessons. I taught students from beginners to advanced music college students. A considerable number of my piano students performed recitals and passed CME every year. I performed in various opera productions including Dialogues des Carmélites, Don Giovanni, No guarantee, Hansel and Gretel, L’incoronazione di Poppea and Cosi fan tutte. I have also performed in the chorus in various productions as Mass in B minor, Messiah, Petite messe solennelle and many of these. I am also featured in Master Classes with Dr. Rachel Joselson, Angela Meade, and the famous conductor, Gregory Buchalter. Apart from my teaching and performance career, I also have rich experience in running summer music camps and music festivals for elementary, middle, and high school students. I also work as a coordinator, chorus director, voice faculty, and music theory teacher.
